MONTANA HOTEL. From 1947... Hotel Montana celebrated its 50-year anniversary in 1997. Franck Cardozo built the Hotel Beau-Site in 1946 on the occasion of the commemoration of the bicentenary under the Estimé Government. It was then a 12-bedroom hotel already famous for its family ambiance. Managed by Edna and Franck Cardozo, Hotel Beau-Site eventually was renamed Hotel Montana. Mr. Cardozo was fully devoted to his hotel and sought to make it a second "home" for its clients. ...To the present In 1990, the Hotel grew and modernized. A new bar, media room, two conference rooms and the addition of numerous new services transformed the Montana into one of the most appreciated hotels of the capital. Since then, renovation and rehabilitation efforts have never stopped. A third conference room was built and, more recently, a fourth one the largest in all of Port-au-Prince was added. Old rooms were renovated and new ones added bringing the total number of bedrooms to 120. With new parking spaces on two stories, the Hotel can accommodate more than 100 vehicles. The management steadily continues to improve the buildings, grounds and services. It is dedicated to ensuring the satisfaction of its regular and future clients, and does not hesitate to make the necessary investments.
